From all the hand-made gifts (THANK YOU, Janice and Kim, District 6) to those who walked along and gave them to parade watchers...thank you! We appreciate those who drove their cars, decorated with our KCDP banners, waving and calling out..."Happy Birthday, Dr. King!". We also appreciate our videographer, Sean, and will soon have a video record of the Parade, especially of our KCDP entry. It was a great day. We celebrated Dr. King's birthday AND the 2nd Inauguration with joy and enthusiasm and look forward to our participation in next year's MLK celebration. We have been active to some degree in Harris County dems and worked for Howard Dean when he ran. We plan to be involved in Knox County when we get up there. We'll be in Fountain City.
