It’s hard to say what’s worse for Vice President Kamala Harris in this Washington post story– comments from anonymous former staff rampage his management style or the official commentary defend his management style by comparing Harris to Donald Trump:
“People personalize these things”, [former Harris staffer Sean Clegg] continued. “I have never had experience in my long history with Kamala, where I felt she was unfair. Did she call bulls? Yes. And does that sometimes make people uncomfortable? Yes. But if she was a man with her management style, she would have a TV show called “The Apprentice”. “
Staff members who worked for Harris before she was vice president said a constant problem was that Harris refused to delve into briefing materials prepared by staff members and then berated employees when she seemed unprepared.
“It’s clear you’re not working with someone who’s willing to do the prep and the job,” a former staff member said. “With Kamala, you have to put up with a constant amount of soul-destroying criticism and also your own lack of confidence. So you are constantly supporting a tyrant and it’s not really clear why.
