Chris Christie’s book “Republican Rescue” to be released this fall

NEW YORK – Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s next book is for fellow Republicans.

“Republican Rescue: Saving the Party from Truth Deniers, Conspiracy Theorists, and the Dangerous Policies of Joe Biden” will be released on November 16, Threshold Editions announced Monday. Threshold, a conservative imprint of Simon & Schuster, calls the book “a timely and urgent guide to moving the party forward.

Christie was among the first prominent Republicans to back Donald Trump for president in 2016 and helped prepare him for last fall’s debates against Biden. But he disagrees with Trump and many in the party over their false claims that Trump won the 2020 election. He even spoke out in favor of Trump’s impeachment for inciting the crowd who took to the election. stormed the US Capitol on January 6.

Christie, often mentioned as a potential 2024 presidential candidate, has said he won’t wait to see if Trump shows up before making a decision.
