Cole Emhoff, the stepson of Kamala Harris, is engaged

Cole Emhoffsecond gentleman’s son Doug Emhof, is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Greenley Littlejohn. The proposal took place in front of a bonfire, according to a video Littlejohn shared on his Instagram account.

“Surrounded by friends and family in my favorite place, I said yes to the love of my life! I can’t wait to reunite our family,” she wrote.

Doug Emhoff told reporters Monday that “we’re really thrilled” with the engagement.

“Greenley is going to be a big part of our family, we love him, we love him,” Emhoff said. “And we couldn’t be more proud of them.”

The video did not include the Second Gentleman or Vice President Kamala Harris, who is currently in quarantine after test positive for COVID-19 Last week.

Cole Emhoff is one of two children from Emhoff’s first marriage to Kerstin Emhoff, a film producer. Harris noted how Cole and his sister Ella call him “Momala”. In a essay for Elle last yearHarris wrote that she and Kerstin hit it off “immediately,” and Kerstin Emhoff attended the 2021 grand opening with her kids.

In the Elle essay, Harris wrote, “Cole and Ella couldn’t have been more welcoming. They are bright, talented and funny children who have become remarkable adults. I was already addicted to Doug, but I think Cole and Ella took me away.”

Cole currently lives in Los Angeles and works in the entertainment industry.
