Kamala Harris caught in a word salad when asked if Democrats hadn’t codified Roe v Wade

Vice President Kamala Harris was taken with another course of word salad, this time during an interview with CBS News.

Following the Supreme Court’s landmark decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, CBS News correspondent Robert Costa asked Harris on Friday whether Democrats in the White House and Congress “failed” to codify protection. federal abortion law in the nearly 50 years since the previous one. have been established.

This isn’t the first time this week that Harris has been accused of “word salad.” The vice president raised her eyebrows on Tuesday as she visited Highland Park, Illinois, following the mass shooting at an Independence Day parade that left seven people dead.

“We have to take these things seriously, as seriously as you are because you were forced to take this seriously,” Harris told reporters and residents of Highland Park.

“The entire nation should understand and have a level of empathy to understand that this could happen anywhere [to] anyone in any community. And we should come together and explain why this needs to stop,” Harris added before walking away.
