One property downstairs, one for Vice President Kamala Harris. She sold her SoMa loft in San Francisco for $ 860,000 and is now looking for a buyer for her condo in Washington, DC. Last month, Harris moved into the vice president’s usual residence on the grounds of the US Naval Observatory in Washington.
Located on the top floor of the building, the 1,069 square foot San Francisco property includes one bedroom and one and a half bathrooms. It also includes a patio, fireplace and alcove desk, among other amenities.
Harris bought the property for $ 489,000 in 2004 – the same year she became the first person of color to be elected San Francisco district attorney.
Harris is also looking for $ 1.995 million for his old home in Washington, Realtor.com reports.
The 1,731 square foot condo has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It also includes custom cabinetry, natural oak hardwood floors and a walk-in pantry. The development offers 24/7 concierge service, a dog wash station and a rooftop swimming pool.
Harris still owns a four bedroom, five bathroom home with her husband Doug Emhoff in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles. This property remains off the market.
