Former MK Tulsi Gabbard on Saturday criticized President Biden‘s immigration policies during “Justice with Judge Jeanine,” which she said had serious humanitarian and national security consequences.
âThe Biden-Harris administration has an open door border policy,â the Hawaii Democrat said. “The reality is that people are allowed to enter and cross the border every day.”
Under the Biden administration, encounters between the border patrol and illegal immigrants exploded. In August there were more 200,000 meetings, up more than 300% compared to the same month in 2020.
FORMER BIDEN BORDER PATROL LEADER: I WOULD LIKE TO “CONTINUE” TO BUILD THE BORDER WALL
âActions speak louder and louder than words,â Gabbard said. “[I]It doesn’t matter how many times Sec. [Antony] Blinken or Kamala Harris or whoever in the administration says, you know, don’t cross the border. “
“These drug cartels, these human traffickers, they are incredibly emboldened to the point where they feel they can do it without consequence, where they feel they can continue to profit from trafficking people through these. borders that are essentially open … The point is that the open door policy that this administration has put in place poses a humanitarian crisis creates a humanitarian crisis, as well as a very serious threat to the security of our country, “said the former legislator.
Gabbard then accused Department of Homeland Security secretary Alejandro Mayorkas of boldly lying to Congress.
She said: âThe secretary of the Department of Homeland Security recently told Congress, ‘Our borders are secure. That is what he said.”
Gabbard argued that when bold lies like this are told to the American public, they lose faith in their government and their leaders.

“The faith and confidence that the American people should have in our leaders is dwindling every day,” she said.
Gabbard said that the lies to the American people reveal “the arrogance and selfish nature of the leaders who are in power in this country and the disrespect they have for the American people and that is why people lose faith and trust these leaders. “
“And that’s the problem here, is that we don’t have leaders who⦠put themselves before the interests of the people,” she said.
